Carnival
The Carnival Parade, organized by the Municipality of Cuba, is a playful and recreational activity whose main goal is to promote the county. The initiative also seeks to encourage creativity, imagination and the spirit of partnership within the community.

Date of completion: – Tuesday of Carnival

Celebrations of April 25th at the County
Traditionally, the celebration of the Carnation Revolution has these main events: musical performances of the Band of the Philharmonic Society Cubense 1st December and local choral groups and a cycling tour around the county of Cuba.  People can also find different initiatives organized by the Parish Councils.

Popular Saints Celebration
During the month of June there are several possible initiatives and festivities that are developed in honour of the popular saints. Marches and masts enliven the streets in the county.

Annual Fair of Cuba (1st weekend of September)
This fair has a main objective: the promotion of local economic activities. It is a Traditional Fair, where exhibitions, handicraft, trade, typical regional products, musical shows and animation take place.

This event is also the “Feast of our Bread” and the “Lunch of non-resident Cubenses”.
Culinary Fair of Vila Alva (3rd weekend of August) It is organised by the Parish Council of Vila Alva and its main goal is to promote and disclose the typical local products, such as the homemade wine, typical regional dishes and sweets, honey, sausages and cheese.

Festivities in honour of São Luís (St. Louis) – 1st weekend of August – Faro do Alentejo
Festivities in honour of Santa Maria (St. Mary) – 2nd weekend of August – Vila Ruiva
Festivities in honour of Nossa Senhora da Rocha (Our Lady of the Rock) – 4th weekend of August – Cuba
Funeral Procession of the Lord or Endoenças – Good Friday – Vila Alva
Nossa Senhora das Represas Pilgrimage (Our Lady of the Dam) – Pascoela
Monday – Vila Ruiva
