Bread is especially relevant in the Alentejo traditional cuisine as it is an essential ingredient in almost all dishes, such as soups, “migas”, gazpacho and stews.
The Feast of Our Bread, event of the Annual Fair of Cuba, aims to promote local products. This festival includes the exhibition and sale of the traditional bakery and pastry.
