
Background / description:
The Church of St. Vincent was built in the 17th century. In 2003, the Parish of St. Vincent, in cooperation with the Department of Historical and Artistic Heritage of the Diocese of Beja, also in collaboration with the Municipality of Cuba and the Ministry of Culture, created the treasury of St. Vincent’s Church. The church is tiled 17th century with santoral panels. The altarpieces and statues date from the 17th and 18th centuries.
Main collections:
Archaeological pieces, paintings, statuary, jewellery, textiles and decorative arts.
No visitor can fail to see:
The tile panels in the Church and the board from the 16th century in the Treasury.
